Agents in the process. Where agentic AI really works in day-to-day operations today.
Heimspiel KI Frankfurt addresses a question almost every company is asking: why is agentic AI on everyone’s agenda, yet rarely running in production? The reason is usually not the model but the process around it. Where may an agent decide, where does the process stay deterministic, who is accountable for the result – and what happens when the agent gets it wrong?
This is not a preview of what might be possible someday. It is a reality check: what works in real business processes today, why projects fail and which decisions make the difference.
You will take away concrete patterns that have proven themselves in production – and the mistakes you can avoid.
Please note: the event and all talks will be held in German.
An afternoon in the stadium that sharpens your view of agentic AI
Most companies are asking the same questions: At which decision points is an agent actually worth it? How do governance and traceability hold up when processes become dynamic? And how do you get from prototype to reliable operation?
These are exactly the questions at the heart of Heimspiel KI in Frankfurt.
Together with Camunda and user companies, cimt shows how AI agents are embedded in end-to-end business processes – working alongside people, rules and existing systems.

Your benefits at a glance
You leave the afternoon with concrete insights instead of new buzzwords:
Plus a venue you don’t see from the inside every day: a stadium tour of Deutsche Bank Park is part of the programme.
What to expect at Heimspiel KI Frankfurt – your afternoon at a glance
A talk from professional football, a look at the orchestration of AI agents, user reports from live operations – and a tour of Deutsche Bank Park. Instead of visions of the future, you can expect concrete experience from ongoing projects, including the approaches that did not work. That gives you insights you can transfer directly to your own processes.

Speakers

Bernd Rücker
Chief Technologist and co-founder, Camunda
Bernd Rücker
Chief Technologist and co-founder, Camunda
Bernd Rücker is Chief Technologist and co-founder of Camunda. As a software developer, he has delivered large-scale process automation projects at leading companies and established automation paradigms that fit modern architectures.
He is the author of “Practical Process Automation” and co-author of “Enterprise Process Orchestration” and “Real-Life BPMN”. He holds a degree in software engineering from HFT Stuttgart.
His talk: For process analysts and digitalisation leaders, the question is no longer what agentic AI can do, but where it creates real value in day-to-day operations. The talk shows how AI agents are embedded where the leverage is greatest – in end-to-end business processes, at clearly defined decision points and in interaction with people, rules and systems. Agentic orchestration provides a framework in which deterministic and dynamic flows can alternate depending on the situation – without losing sight of governance, traceability and operational reliability. Using Camunda ProcessOS as an example, he shows how this works in practice.

His talk: The focus is on KIANA, Deutsche Bahn’s digital travel assistant. Using the build-up of an AI agent team, Lukas Bünning shows what companies really need to solve on the way from the first GenAI prototype to a productive solution: knowledge management, agentic architectures, integration with existing enterprise systems as well as data protection and governance. To close, he outlines what sales organisations should prepare for when it comes to agentic commerce.
