A total of 103,054 companies were compared. Only a small number of them met the criteria and were included in the ranking.
The ranking is published for the fifth time. It is not based on a survey or a jury, but on an analysis by the Creditreform group. It looks at economic key figures over several financial years, including creditworthiness, order situation and the development of headcount between 2022 and 2024.

Das Ranking führt einzelne Gesellschaften auf, nicht Unternehmensgruppen. Für die cimt Gruppe ist dort exemplarisch die cimt objects ag als eines der krisensichersten Unternehmen 2026 vertreten.
Im Vergleich standen 103.054 Unternehmen. Nur ein kleiner Teil davon hat die Kriterien erfüllt und wurde in das Ranking aufgenommen.
Das Ranking erscheint bereits zum fünften Mal. Grundlage ist keine Umfrage und keine Jury, sondern eine Analyse der Creditreform-Unternehmensgruppe. Betrachtet werden wirtschaftliche Kennzahlen über mehrere Geschäftsjahre, darunter die Bonität, die Auftragslage und die Entwicklung der Beschäftigtenzahlen im Zeitraum 2022 bis 2024.
Entscheidend ist also nicht ein einzelnes starkes Jahr, sondern ob ein Unternehmen über einen längeren Zeitraum solide wirtschaftet.
