Initial Situation

As part of the establishment of an open access network to expand the provision of broadband Internet access, a service-oriented platform was created that allows end-customer providers to rent appropriate connections for their customers from connected providers via a standardized interface. Complex processes such as order acceptance, searching for suitable connection options, setting up connections and billing for services provided are implemented via the platform’s services. Processing is essentially interaction-free via the technical interfaces of the connected subscribers.
